Scotsman Hospitality is a privately owned and operated business which focusses on a bold and brave approach to delivering customer experiences which challenge the status quo. 

In the heart of St Andrews, No 1 Apartments and West Park House are our new luxury apartments opened in 2021 and we are now looking for  an experienced and talented Guest Services Manager to join our fantastic team in St Andrews to manage our luxury accommodation.  

We envisage this role continually developing alongside our accommodation and hotel expansion which is currently underway in St Andrews.

The Role:

As Guest Services Manager, your role will include:

  • Planning and organising accommodation and other guest services; promoting and marketing the business.
  • Managing budgets and financial plans as well as controlling labour and other expenditure.
  • Setting and achieving sales and profit targets
  • Analysing sales figures and devising marketing and revenue management strategies.
  • Deliver first class guest relations and services
  • Manage the accommodation systems
  • Managing, recruiting, training and monitoring staff with a focus on housekeeping team service and standards.
  • Reporting maintenance and security issues and liaising with property team and supplies.
  • Carrying out inspections of property and services through the company audit process


The Person:

  • Experience as a departmental manager within a Hotel or Serviced Apartments
  • Experience delivering first class customer service and communication skills
  • Problem solving skills and ability to work on own initiative
  • Demonstrates effective communication, both verbally and written, with guests, vendors and co-workers
  • Local market knowledge and experience with emphasis on local, corporate and group business
  • The Accommodation Manager will be required to work evenings and weekends to deliver the needs of the business.

The Reward:

In return, we offer a salary of £30,000 per annum  and  generous company benefits as well as industry leading training and career development opportunities
